2001 Gibson Les Paul Special Flaming Maple Top w/case. This Gibson Les Paul Special has Humbuckers, with the Original Gibson Case Guitar and is in excellent condition. The Les Paul Special was designed as an in-between model to the regular Les Paul model and the entry level Les Paul Junior. First offered in 1955, the initial single cutaway design is identical to the Les Paul Junior introduced a year earlier. In fact, the only differences between the Les Paul Junior and Special are that the fingerboard is bound. Great sounding and playing for the beginner or accomplished guitarist.
