60s Univox Electric Bass Guitar w/case. I’ve been coming to Dan West’s store for 2 years now and when I grabbed this bass off the wall, it was still in tune! Says something for the craftsmanship and durability of the Univox instruments. A cool Japanese import from the late ’60s with wonderful tone & playability. The flame figuring in the body looks gorgeous set against the 3-tone sunburst finish. The Hofner-looking “staple” pickups sound great & deliver a warm, rich, punchy tone. “Staple” pickups with black bezels. Bridge – 7.59K ohms; Neck – 7.60K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way selector switch. Great collector’s item but fun to play also!
