1958 Martin D-18 Guitar w/case The D-18 shows the almighty dreadnought in one of it’s most coveted forms using mahogany for the back and sides and Sitka spruce for the top. This model was designed to have no frills and is all about pure, powerful, warm tone. Certainly after all those years the sound of this guitar is best described as “vintage dry”, matured like a great vintage wine. These years have also left their marks on the finish of this guitar but all is forgiven when you hear the warm Martin tone!
